"American Horror Story: Asylum" has been a giant tangle of mysteries all season, with gruesome surprises around every corner.
Dylan McDermott, however, has spoiled "AHS" fans everywhere by revealing that he is modern day Bloody Face, the successor of Zachary Quinto's character in the show's 1964 setting who skins women because he has mommy issues. Check out his tweet below:

Many viewers suspected McDermott was modern day Bloody Face after Episode 6, "The Origins of Monstrosity," in which modern day Bloody Face's voice was heard over the phone.
McDermott only tweeted the photo above after "American Horror Story" co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed viewers' speculations to Entertainment Weekly.
"Dylan is modern day Bloody Face," Murphy told EW. "So the question is, Why is he the modern day Bloody Face? What is he doing? And that's revealed in episode nine."
McDermott has been tweeting about his return to the FX series for weeks, dropping hints like, "Totally wiped out from working on 'American Horror Story.' Giving blood on this one..." "American Horror Story: Asylum" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
