Forget about the gripes you heard from some mutinous journalists about the grueling pace and the lack of face time with Rihanna on her 777 Tour.
In an interview with England's Radio 1, the singer defended the seven nation promotional tour, saying it was "fun but exhausting."
With a plane packed with 150-or-so journalists and a group of hand-picked fans, Rih Rih rocketed around the globe for a week in advance of the release of her seventh album, Unapologetic,
drawing complaints from some journos
that she had little to no interaction with them during the entire sleepless adventure.
"It was different having to do your job but also have 200 guests come along with you," she said. "They all want you to host a party every time you get on the plane after a show but you really only have that time to sleep until you get to the next country ... Sometimes it was a two-hour ride to the next country and that was all the sleep you would get."
Despite the exhausting nature of the promotional stunt, just before the final show at New York's Webster Hall,
Rihanna finally spoke
to the reporters on her trip. "I'd f---ing do this again," the visibly drained star said after a seven-hour flight from London to Newark.

After being promised interviews with her, some of the writers on the trip grumbled that they barely even saw Rihanna, 24, aside from her performances. She said there was good reason for being scarce, as she had to "use her time wisely" to rest up for the demanding schedule of concerts.
"I knew I had seven countries and seven shows and I had to save my voice," she said. "I didn't go crazy. I didn't party too hard ... I did have fun though. I tried to get everybody involved but sometimes you just wish you could give more."
