The world has Simon Cowell to thank for One Direction, as he was the one who decided to make them a group back in 2010 when they auditioned separately on the "X Factor" U.K.

That's why it's no surprise that the band's faithful manager has gotten an early listen of their November 13 album release, Take Me Home. So, what does "The X Factor" judge think of the songs?

"I heard most of the new one direction album today. It really is a fantastic album," he wrote on Twitter. "I can't wait for you guys to hear it. When you hear or see something you have been a part of which is fantastic you realise how important your partners are. I am very lucky." And while the interest level in the album is at an all-time high, when MTV News caught up with Cowell earlier this month, he admitted that he had no idea that One Direction would be just this big.

"No! I mean, you know, I thought they would work as a band, but you can't predict these kinds of things," he said. "But it's down to them. They've worked hard. They work really well as a group. The records are good. They're nice guys to work with. So the world, right now, is theirs." Until the album's release, fans can find comfort in the album's lead single, "Live While We're Young," which they released last week along with the camping-themed video.

The song was written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, who also worked with the guys on their hits "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing." The guys also worked with Up All Night songwriter Ed Sheeran as well as hitmaker Dr. Luke on their sophomore release. Sheeran shared with MTV News that one of the songs he wrote for them might be the follow-up single to "Live While We're Young."
