Leading up to the release of her fifth studio album, One Woman Army, Ciara dropped a steamy teaser for the album's second single, "Got Me Good,"

The svelte singer is white-hot donning a midriff-bearing white turtleneck and matching pants as she dances in the scorching California desert. Ciara samples and toughens up the familiar girlhood rhyme, "My back is aching, my bra too tight, my booty's shaking from the left to the right" while grinding up on a backup dancer dressed in all black. "Got Me Good" and the full-length music video will officially premiere on Ciara's 27th birthday on Thursday.

When MTV News visited Ciara on the set of the video, the Atlanta singer says is a digression from the days "1,2 Step." According to the singer, One Woman Army is a reflection of her newfound independence and self-confidence. "The way this one was different is, I think, it was really more so the freedom that I felt with being vulnerable and my confidence," she said. "Me starting with just wanting to completely be free and be me in my song and not care about what anybody has to say."

From the video set of "Got Me Good," Ciara explained to MTV News, "It's not about being over-independent, but it does represent my independence as a woman and it represents my strength. It represents where I stand with love. It represents what I want out of life as a woman. It's all of that in one and more."

One Woman Army marks the reunion of Ciara with record executive L.A. Reid, who discovered the singer in 2003 and signed her to Sony Music Entertainment's LaFace records. The album promises a lineup of star-studded producers with studio recording sessions alongside Hit Boy, Darkchild, Jermaine Dupri, and Bangladesh.
