President says he's 'very keen' on protecting his daughters' privacy during MTV's 'Ask Obama Live.' By James Montgomery

Barack Obama may be the president of the United States, but he's also a father — one who, if re-elected, might have to face some pretty tough decisions when it comes to his eldest daughter, Malia.

If Obama gets his second term, Malia — who is now 14 — will find herself going through all manner of teen milestones (getting a driver's license, going on a first date) with the eyes of the world watching. So just how will the commander in chief handle what's sure to be a rather interesting time on the home front? We put that question to him during Friday's "Ask Obama Live: An MTV Interview With the President" special, and, well, let's just say he's got a game plan in place already.

In fact, when it comes to the idea of raising a teenage daughter with his wife, Michelle, there are only two things that really freak Obama out. One is the idea of Malia finally getting a Facebook page.

"I'd worry about Facebook," he said. "I know the folks at Facebook, they've revolutionized social networks. But Malia, because she's well-known, I'm very keen on protecting her privacy. She can make her own decisions as she gets older, but right now, for security reasons, she does not have a Facebook page"

And, of course, the idea of Malia getting her license is also cause for worry — though that one seems to be a rather universal concern. "[A] driver's license, that always worries a parent," Obama said. "Sooner or later, they've got to leave the nest, so we'll have to figure out how she gets the lessons."

MTV also invited Obama's opponent, Mitt Romney, to participate in a similar live special, and hopes to conduct an interview with him in advance of Election Day on November 6.
