Katy Perry had the perfect outfit planned out for her performance for President Barack Obama Wednesday night in Las Vegas. Decked out in a skin-tight white latex dress painted up to look like a ballot, the singer showed up to a Las Vegas rally to get the crowd excited about the upcoming election, ahead of Obama's interview with MTV News on Friday.

Perry performed several of her tracks, with backup dancers and a photo of the president serving as her backdrop, according to ABC News. It's reported that she told the crowd to get out, and get out early, to vote for the POTUS.

The President was quoted as saying that the singer is "just a wonderful young lady," but it turns out that Katy isn't the only Perry girl that Obama had warm, fuzzy feelings for. He also shared a kiss with her 91-year-old grandmother backstage. When he spoke to the crowd, he joked, "Fortunately, somebody wiped it off before Michelle saw it."

After the concert for the president, Perry took to Twitter to open up about hitting the stage in support of him, just hours before she turned 28 on Thursday. She wrote, "So tonight was a great night! The PRESIDENT gave grandma and I unforgettable shout outs & now I am officially 28! Best. birthday. Ever."

Earlier this month, Perry showed her support for Obama at alongside A-listers like Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder, at the 30 Days to Victory Concert.

Right after Wednesday night's rally in Vegas, the President was back on the campaign trail to make his way across the country during the pivotal last few weeks of his bid for re-election. He holds an event in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday and then he will be sitting down with MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway on Friday, October 26 at 5 p.m. ET (tape delayed PT) for "Ask Obama Live: An MTV Interview With the President."

The half-hour special will feature not only Sway's conversation with the President, but also Andrew Jenks, who will be on the ground at a college campus in Washington, D.C., with a group of young voters. You can submit your questions for the commander in chief beginning by hitting up the MTV Facebook page.

It's all part of our ongoing "Power of 12" campaign, which aims to engage the 45 million 18- to 29-year-olds eligible to vote in this election (making them the largest potential voting bloc in the country). MTV's "Ask Obama Live" will mark the first time in this campaign that either candidate has focused directly on those young voters' top concerns, including jobs, the cost of college, rising student loan debt and social issues like LGBTQ rights and immigration.

Be sure to submit your question for the president here.

MTV has also invited Obama's opponent, Mitt Romney, to participate in a similar live special, and hopes to conduct a sit-down interview with him in advance of Election Day on November 6.
