One Direction will soon unleash their new single, "Little Things," off their November 13 album release, Take Me Home. And, if fans are expecting a tune as bouncy as the album's lead single, "Live While We're Young," they'd better think again. Songwriter Ed Sheeran says the group wanted to slow things down.

"It's got one of my favorite lines that I've ever written in a song," he told Capital FM about the track, which is slated to hit the U.K. very soon. "Harry says, 'I know you never like the sound of your voice on tape and you never like to know how much you weigh and you still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you're perfect to me.' "

He describes it as an acoustic ballad (which sounds similar to "Moments," the track he gave them on their debut Up All Night), and he added that the guys are trying to shake things up a bit on this new release. He said, "I think they just wanted to try something different. I think they did the same formula with the last single — it sounded like a One Direction song — and now I think they want to switch it up a bit."

Back in September, Sheeran spoke to MTV News about the track, sharing that it "is kind of a very sweet song," he said. "It was written about the best things about someone, kind of like the things you wouldn't expect. You'll have to hear it. I can't really say too much 'cause it's their album. I want them to be the first ones to announce it and stuff."

With only weeks until the album drops, fans are eagerly anticipating it. And, it's not only the Directioners who are amped for the release, but also the guys in the band. On Wednesday (October 25), Niall Horan tweeted, "Listened to a few songs on take me home this morning! I literally cannot wait for the release date!"
