Michaele Salahi, who gained notoriety in 2009 for crashing a White House state dinner, may not have known, but her boyfriend Neal Schon, is likely close to popping the question. "He's having a 11.42 carat diamond ring shipped to Florida that will then be delivered to him by armored car Friday morning," a friend of Neal tells me. "Michaele has no idea yet, but he's confident she will say yes." Michaele and her ex-husband, Tareq Salahi, signed a confidential divorce settlement in August after she left her husband for Neal. Tareq filed a $50 million personal injury suit against his ex and her new boyfriend that has since been dismissed. "I've known Michaele for more than 15 years, having met her in the 1990s," Schon told me a few months ago. "But nothing romantic ever happened between us, even though I secretly wanted it to, until she left her husband." The couple has not yet set a wedding date.
