Stopping by HuffPost Live Tuesday afternoon for a quick chat, Hulk Hogan talked in detail about the sex tape that was leaked on the Internet last Friday and posted to gossip website Gawker.
"I didn't know the video existed, but I knew that whole sexual thing happened. I never knew there was a camera. I had no idea someone would put a camera up and do this," Hogan told HuffPost Live's Marc Lamont Hill.
The tape shows black-and-white footage of Hogan, 59, engaging in intimate sexual behavior with a woman. In a twist, the woman in the video has been identified as Heather Clem, the ex-wife of Hogan's friend Bubba the Love Sponge.
His friend, Hogan said, had given Hogan his blessing to engage in the sexual act with Clem. Hogan also said that Bubba the Love Sponge and his now-estranged wife were swingers who "had an alternative lifestyle."
"These are really close friends of mine My buddy, who's a radio DJ, was like cool with it…but she was just relentless. I wanna see this, I wanna do this…it was crazy. So finally at the end of the day, when I bottomed out, when I crashed and burned, when it was eff this eff that I'm not coming back…I just went over to their house just to say hello and they started going down that same path and I went, okay, fine," Hogan said.
During the segment, Hogan also accused his ex-wife, Linda Hogan, of mentally and emotional abusing him during their 23-year marriage. "I didn't realize that there was something called verbal and mental abuse. All of a sudden, after all these years -- 'You're old, you're too slow,' 'eff this, eff that, I'm finding someone new' -- just this whole thing after all these years," he said.
