Meghan McCain's Vagina Takes Center Stage As Maverick's Daughter Talks Voting Records, Women's Rights

Meghan McCain has never been afraid to speak her mind.

The outspoken daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain has been turning up more than normal of late, publicizing her book, "America, You Sexy Bitch," and generally making waves for little or no reason.

But now McCain is shilling her new apparent catchphrase, repeatedly telling America she will not be voting with her vagina.

During a weekly chat on the KTAR radio show "Mac and Gaydos" Tuesday, McCain told audiences that "As a pro-life female Republican voter, I'm not voting with my vagina."

Instead, the colorful commentator said she would voting with her pocketbook.

Mac and Gaydos did not follow up on McCain's remark, and the Phoenix New Times cheekily noted it had been unable to reach McCain's vagina for comment.

Vaginas are a hot topic these days, and the women's vote is increasingly touted as an essential part of a winning presidential strategy.

Earlier in October, McCain told her fellow panelists on Larry King's post-debate program that women don't only care about their vaginas. "I get insulted when Democrats assert that the only thing that Republican women care about is our vaginas," she said, adding that she cares far more about the economy.

But McCain has referenced that particular part of the female anatomy on more than two occasions.

In February, she told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow that as "as a woman, as a Republican woman" she was horrified by the idea of Virginia's vaginal probing legislation.

And in June, the political blogger was a guest on "The Ed Show," where she weighed in on the debate over whether or not Michigan state representative Lisa Brown should have been barred from the House floor after saying the word "vagina" in an anti-abortion bill debate.

"I just think that we're regressing as a culture when you can't even say the word 'vagina,'" McCain said.
